Healing Touch Appreciation Banquet

The Healing Touch Spiritual Ministry (HTSM) Team gathered for an Appreciation Banquet on January 4. The theme for the evening was “Let Your Light Shine.” The HTSM team is an ecumenical group of 18 volunteers that provides Healing Touch to the community. Healing Touch is a relaxing, nurturing, heart-centered energy therapy that uses gentle, intentional touch that assists in balancing physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being. It is a safe, complementary therapy to regular and ongoing medical care. In 2023, the group offered 145 sessions (35 in person and 110 from a distance) and had 12 new clients. There is no charge to receive Healing Touch, but we do welcome free-will donations to support the ministry. Please call the church office (641-423-0536) for more information or to give it a try.
