Vacation Bible School Recap 2025

Led by four awesome Riverside Bible Camp Counselors, Trinity presented CAPTIVATED, based on Psalm 121: 1-2. “I lift my eyes up to the mountains – where does my help come from? My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.” There were 11 preschoolers, 45 day campers, and 9 youth & adult helpers at Trinity June 9-12.

The Day Camp service project for the week was to bring items for the Women’s & Children’s Shelter. The young people this week brought 73 items they need the most.

Special thanks to Lisa Wulf, who led the preschool for the week, the helpers for all the age groups, and all who provided snacks and supplies. Thank you to Pastor Daniel, who spent his birthday traveling to Riverside in Story City and all the helpers who went with him. Thanks to Dani Vogel who helped with MS & HS night, plus sound for the week. Big thanks to Alyse Hesley & family who had the counselors for dinner and thanks to members of the Education Committee and Youth & Family representatives for hosting a walking-taco supper after Wednesday’s closing celebration. A HUGE thank you to Matt Hansen & family and Tom & Betsy Kirby for providing housing and meals and a very good time for the counselors. Trinity is truly blessed to have such wonderful people who give of their time and talent to make this week possible!
