Book Discussion – September 2025

Our next book, The Borrowed Life of Frederick Fife by Anna Johnston, tells the story of an 82-year-old named Fred, who is down on his luck and facing homelessness after a series of unfortunate events. A case of mistaken identity at a nursing home offers him a chance at a new life when he’s mistaken for a resident named Bernard Greer. Fred embraces this second chance, bringing his natural kindness and positive outlook to the nursing home, transforming the lives of those around him while also uncovering the secrets of Bernard’s past.
