Michelle Murray

Trinity Connection Writer/Editor

Michelle began her position as Trinity’s Connection Writer/Editor in May 2021. She has a wide variety of writing experience which includes being a content creator for businesses and a columnist for the Globe Gazette. Storytelling is her passion, and she hopes to share stories from Trinity’s members in the newsletter. A graduate of Waldorf University, Wartburg College and the University of Northern Iowa, Michelle holds her M.A. in Communication Studies and her B.A. in Communication Arts. She has spent over 30 years in academia, mainly teaching communication and humanities courses in several colleges. Michelle is married to Marc Murray and they have two sons, Nic and Noah. Michelle and Marc are new owners/operators of Birdsall’s in Mason City and are excited to carry on the tradition of scrumptious ice cream. In her free time, Michelle loves to travel, spend time with her family and her dogs, read, go for long walks and bike rides, and be onstage acting and singing whenever possible.
