On Pentecost we celebrate that by the power of the Holy Spirit, we are one in Christ, the universal, historic and global church. God speaks to each of us no matter our origins, gender, language or abilities. We all need forgiveness. The Holy Spirit gives us the gift of faith. It’s hard for us to grasp what the Spirit is like, but filled with the Spirit of truth, we move out into the world to proclaim the saving power of Christ’s love.
