Description:
We are made for relationship—with one another and with God, and healthy relationships are built on trust. In this weekend’s reading from Amos, we hear a warning about what happens when we put too much trust in ourselves, our accomplishments, or our place in the world. The reading invites us to consider where we are placing our trust—and how leaving room for trust in God changes everything.
