The ladies gathered to learn to cook with herbs

Herbs add aroma, flavor, and color to life! On June 19, we gathered in the Trinity kitchen to create four recipes that included a variety of herbs; basil lemonade, lemon verbena vinaigrette, Easy Garlic, and Herb Veggie Dip (see recipe below), and lemon thyme icebox cookies.

Easy Garlic and Herb Veggie Dip

INGREDIENTS
▢1 cup mayonnaise
▢1/2 cup sour cream
▢1 tbsp. dried parsley
▢1 tbsp. dried chives
▢1/2 – 1 tsp dried tarragon
▢1/2 – 1 tsp dried dill weed
▢1/2 tsp. garlic powder
▢1/4 tsp. paprika (or smoked paprika)
▢1/4 tsp. dried minced onion
▢ salt and pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS
– In a mixing bowl, combine all ingredients and whisk together to combine well.
– For best taste, refrigerate for several hours in an airtight container before serving.
