Mission Jamaica – A Vacation with a Purpose

For over 20 years, Trinity has partnered with St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church in Mahtomedi, MN, to provide a unique and powerful mission experience called Mission Jamaica.

A Mission Jamaica trip combines acts of service with time for reflection, relaxation and spiritual growth. Housed at an all-inclusive resort, mission team members spend their days serving in schools, children’s homes, through house-builds and medical clinics. They worship in a Jamaican congregation. They gather each evening for devotions, fellowship and fun. They also have opportunities to explore Jamaica and just relax toward the end of the week. Mission Jamaica is a great way to experience an international mission field that is close to home, yet far enough away to change how you see God at work in the world.

Trinity’s next Mission Jamaica trip will be March 13-20, 2027. Approximate cost for the trip is $2500+ per person (includes air, hotel, in country transportation and program fees). Adults and families interested in going should contact me by May 31 to reserve their spots. Friends and extended family members are welcome – you don’t have to be a member to go! I will be sharing more about next year’s trip at an informational meeting on Wednesday, April 22 at 6:30 PM.

Over 125 members and friends from Trinity have served with Mission Jamaica through the years. Many still talk about how they met Christ in the people they served and the experiences they shared.
