Reformation Sunday 2024
The church is still a mighty fortress after 507 years.
At the end of October, we will celebrate Martin Luther’s principled stand for Christ’s gospel of grace, the foundation for the Lutheran Church.
Martin Luther stood for what he believed in; he could do nothing else.
If you asked him, he would say he was just following another simple Christian standing up for what he believed in – the Apostle Paul. ‘By grace you have been saved through faith’ (Ephesians 2:8). Paul wrote this message of grace, Luther translated it, and Lutherans have preached it ever since. Thanks to Luther, we all can read the Bible in a language we understand.
You are invited to attend a special Reformation event on the last weekend of October so mark your calendar. “Martin & Katie’s Unexpected Adventure” will be the message on Saturday, October 26 at the 5 pm service and on Sunday, October 27 at the 9 am service.
There is no Sunday School. Come to worship as a family. MARTIN & KATIE WILL BE HERE TO TELL THEIR STORY–DON’T MISS IT!
