Today’s Gospel readings wrestle with faith amidst trials. We as battered people can empathize with the disciples in the boat. In the nighttime of our fears, Christ says “I am”. Romans tells us to call on Christ, whose righteousness and salvation leads us outwards. Where have your fears led you? What have served as crucible moments causing you to profess “Truly you are the son of God”?
