Like the disciples who did not recognize Jesus as they walked and talked with him, we may not recognize Jesus in our midst today. As Jesus broke the bread and was revealed to those at the table with him, we break bread together and experience the shift from despair to hope as the transformative power of Jesus’ presence is made known among us today.
